Kick off coverage?

I didn't see this mentioned too much (although MD just mentioned it in another thread). What the hell is it with the Eagles giving the team the ball at the 35 so often? Is it just my imagination, or was our kick off coverage terrible this year? That drove me crazy.

Couple that with Reno "I'm a magnet to the 24 yard line" Mahe, and special teams put us consistently at a disadvantage.

Yep, the KO coverage was weak. Seemed like we got it fixed there for a while, during the streak, but it came back at the worst time (kind of like our run D).

Every time we would get a score and get the momentum, they run it out to the 35. Can't give an offense like the Saints that good of field position.

Zactly,,, and in their defense IMO ST's is mostly about emotion and energy and they had a short week and quite frankly they looked like it.

Also, IMOO, you don't set out to fix ST's, St's is more a product of who you place there next year and how they are coached(aside from physically wearing down) these are what you have to work with... and since I really like Harbaugh all IMO they can do is wait to see what the team looks like next year and then work on ST's.
