OT: The Flyers flat out suck!

Every time I watch a game this season I come away wondering why I waste my time. They had a 2-0 lead and ended up going to a shoot out -- which for this team is a guaranteed loss!! I think they're now 1-6 in shootouts. I'm so sick of watching them play with no heart at all. Sorry to wast Eagles board space but I need to vent and the Flyers board hasn't seen the light of day in months!!

Holgrem has done some nice things at the trade deadline for them. Not so sure getting Biron now made sense but they should be in good shape to get this team back to where it should be by next season.

I went to the game last sat. night against the leafs, the first game I've been to in 2 yrs. It was an absolute embarrasment, they are horrible. You can't really appreciate just how much they suck by watching that 3 ring circus on t.v. You need to be there live to watch them light up the suck-o-meter! Thank god I didn't have to pay for the ticket. Lack of speed, passing, any type of scoring threat, lack of heart, guys running into each other. What a joke!

I'm usually full swing into the Flyers after the Eagles season is over but they are just plain painful to watch this year. I've found myself turning off many a game before the end of the game this year and that has NEVER happened before in my life. Here's to next year and hoping some of these young guys can live up to their potential.

The only good thing about the team being this bad is the plethora of great free tickets that have been coming my way. I haven't sat in seats this good in years! I got seat a few weeks ago 10 rows off of dead center ice.

Look for them to make some big moves in Free Agency. I've been screaming for years that I want Chris Drury on this team, and it looks like this might finally be the year! If they get Danny Briere along with Drury, I think it could make for a quick turn around next season.

It has been a rough season and they are very hard to watch. If a game goes to a shoot-out, and I am actually watching, I just turn the channel because it's OVER...

They let themselves get too old and too slow. Especially on defense.
I always said Hatcher was a terrible pickup. And I got hell for it at the time.

They were not prepared and did nto adjust to the new style and the sal cap age. Now they are trying to dig themselves out.

They have made some nice moves lately. Love this kid Upshall. Also like the Kukkonen and Coburn pickups.

Pitkanen isn't as bad as his -25 suggests. He's just been stuck with crappy Dmen around him.

They still have alot of work to do...but they sure did make alot of progress pretty quickly

Here is to hoping it was just a one year speed bump
