In spite of frantic last minute efforts, it appears that Danny, Vinnie and "Coach Gibbs" were unable to rid themselves of their dreaded 1st round draft choice in a trade for Chicago's Lance Briggs.
As a result of several previous personnell master strokes, the Skins had eliminated troubling picks in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds. Had they been able to discard yet another 1st round pick, they would have met their annual goal of being able to sleep in on the first day of the draft...the hallmark of winning NFL franchises.
Now, unless they can trade pick #6 for some tires or racing fuel before noon tomorrow, Vinnie and "Coach Gibbs" will have to pool their vaunted skills at evaluating college players and choose another surefire bust.
Speaking of busts, gotta go now as Jennifer Love Hewitt's wonderful breasts are on TV.
