  • The hits just keep on coming folks

Too many of our starters are getting injured just as other teams are getting healthy and we lost another pro bowler yesterday. We are limping into the playoffs and 95% of Eagle fans want the Giants to just hand us our playoff slot. Our team is in deep trouble.

The Birds offense was non existent yesterday. They got exactly ONE FIRST DOWN IN THE FIRST HALF and it came with 12 seconds left in the half! The offensive line was a joke all day and Hurts probably wouldn't have done any better. What is this team's record without Johnson? Maybe 25 %? For all of the praise Stoudt gets WTF did he put on the field yesterday? A cluster---! NO kicked our asses on all fronts.

Hurts is playing this Sunday and he was lobbying to play yesterday but thankfully they held him out because he would have gotten killed. Mailata was a turnstile and Kelce had his head up his ass. Driscoll should have never been out there so once again I ask do you really think that Stoudt is the second coming because he had no backup plan yesterday. Where is all of the superior backups that he supposedly has developed? And just to pile on Sanders decided to take the day off and not block anybody.

I'm not blaming the defense although they pretty much took the first half off. However they did ring up 7 sacks and balled out in round 2. Meanwhile the offense gave up 6 sacks of their own. I don't want the Giants to lay down for us. I want to earn the spot and hope that a couple of players can come back.

Gotta say 60 I’m not going to go nutty praising the coaching staff one week and slicing/dicing them the next. Stoutland is a Top OL coach if not The top OL coach in the NFL.
the birds have sucked ass a couple times this year. When they did I don’t think they game planned well for their opponent or tried to outsmart themselves. Sometimes when players don’t execute well it is because the game plan doesn’t fit them well. ie if you have a backup T going up against a pass rushing DE maybe you should be running instead of asking the T to stop a better player. Sometimes it is because the player doesn’t like playing a particular defense ie Slay seems uninterested at times. Is it because he is in zone and knows he should be (or wants to be) in man to man. Same might be said for Cox.
anyway I think the players are well coached and maybe yesterdays performance started before they took the field yesterday.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy
    RIP

I agree with everything you just wrote ND. I'm sure not seeing the great depth we have at OT though. Soudt has had Dillard for several years now and can't get him up to speed. It just doesn't make any sense.
