  • The Players All Pro Team

Only players could vote and they couldn’t vote for teammates
and they could only vote for players in their position group or ones they directly go against ie Kelce could only vote for centers and interior DL.
Three Eagles …. Kelce Slay and Lane Johnson.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
    Hope is not a strategy
    RIP

Micah Parsons didn’t make that team which I found interesting. Parsons is very good at times but some of the worship is that damn star on his helmet.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Didn’t Parsons miss some time this year? You’re not eligible if you missed five games or more.

can't believe Dak didn't make it. The opposition should be grateful for all the INTs
We're looking for people that are fundamentally different,” vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl said Saturday night. “The love and passion for football, it's non-negotiable. They're caring, their character, they do the right thing persistently, and they have a relentless playing style that you can see on tape. The motor, it burns hot. You see them finishing plays. They have a team-first mentality. They're selfless individuals.

'F*** that list:' Micah Parsons reacts to Players' All-Pro Team snub
          15H AGO
          /BY ERIC MULLIN

wenty-nine NFL players were named to the inaugural Players' All-Pro Team, and Micah Parsons wasn't one of them.T

The star Dallas Cowboys linebacker was among the most notable players who didn't crack the team announced by the NFLPA on Wednesday. The Players' All-Pro Team was voted on strictly by active players.

San Francisco's Nick Bosa and Cleveland's Myles Garrett were selected over Parsons at edge rusher, while Baltimore's Roquan Smith and San Francisco's Fred Warner earned the two off-ball linebacker spots.

Parsons' reaction to those voting results from his peers? "F*** that list!"

The 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year got off to a dominant start in 2022, racking up 12 sacks and 13 tackles for loss through 11 games. But Parsons' production dipped down the stretch with 1.5 sacks and one tackle for loss over Dallas' final six games.

Bosa and Garrett, meanwhile, both finished above Parsons on the sack leaderboard with 18.5 and 16, respectively.

While Parsons was omitted, the Cowboys did have two representatives on the Players' All-Pro Team. Zack Martin made it at right guard and KaVontae Turpin made it at punt returner.

Parsons and the Cowboys face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round on Monday.

Who knows? Certainly, the stats don't always tell the story. Sometimes the last person to the QB gets the sack. I'd say at least 65% of sacks are team sacks that another teammate set up. Even the players look at stats during the voting. Another thing to consider is that other players can't stand him because he's a jerk. That was always the story with Charles Haley. This doesn't change the fact that he's a heck of a player.

He dropped the puck at a Hershey Bears hockey game. He looked disinterested, dropped the puck before he was supposed to and to me seemed to be a total dickhead

Parsons has issues socially and behaviorally. It’s why he slipped some in the draft. Maybe the kid is a flash in the pan. I know he is a Penn Stater and a local kid but he is a Cowboy. I hope he implodes.

Met Parsons personally several times. He didn't seem to have social or behavioral issues (Of course I had limited exposure). He really didn't slip, he went 12th overall as a linebacker who took off a year due to covid. That seem to effect players. Either way he is a very good player that has a defensive coordinator that knows how to use him.

I personally don't think he is as good as Reddick. Reddick is an absolute game wrecker. He gets more hurries than at DE than I have seen from a DE in this town in a long long time. That is saying something as we have had some damn good DE come through here.

Surprised on Slay making it. I thought Bradberry was a little better than him this year. Just a personal opinion.

Yeah Bradbury has been great this year while Slay really slipped the 2nd half of the season.

The secondary had a rough 5-6 games once Maddox and CJGJ went down. Maddox was terrific prior to being hurt as was CJGJ
