  • First Mock of the year

Ok So its time for me to do a Mock. I used a bunch of generators to get some consensus and then I went most with the best player on the board. I did do a few trades. Also I have not watched the combine yet.

10 - Trade to Green Bay who trades up to grab a WR. - 15 and 45 come back to us. We need extra picks this year and this is a deep draft D line and CB so we can fill needs in round 2

    15. Nolan Smith DE/OLB Georgia- I know at the moment he is not rated as high by some of the mock experts. Trust me this kid is as athletic at Micah Parsons and weighs in around the same. Now with Desai here he likes to play 5-2 alignments a lot. Having another OLB/DE in the mold of Reddick would be huge. This kid can scoot. I wouldn't doubt he runs in the low 4.4's and his shuttles are very close to Parsons

30.Trade to Carolina - 39,114 and a 5th rounder in 2024. Again we are going to need picks once we sign Hurts

    39. Kelee Ringo - CB Georgia - Bigger corner who is a good tackler and will play well in Desai zone schemes. See a theme on getting Georgia defenders

    45. Anton Harrison OT Oklahoma - Most likely slides into guard in the pros very quick set guy who is a good pass blocker. Could eventually slide to RT when lane calls it quits

    62. Keanu Benton DT Wisconsin - Bigger kid at 6ft 4 315lbs, needs a little help on the pass rush stout against the run. Need more DT's for rotation

    94. Ronnie Hickman S - Ohio State - 6ft 1 205lbs can run pretty good. Is a hitter to. Competes with Blankenship for the starting job opposite CJGJ (assuming they get him signed). Pretty good safety draft

    114. Sean Tucker RB Syracuse - 5ft 10 210lbs downhill runner who can scoot. At this point in round 4 he is a solid pickup. Will get into the rotation here.

    221. Juice Scruggs C Penn State - You all think I would do a draft without a Penn State guy Seriously I think this kid is a solid backup type prospect in this league. Get him into Stoundland U and who knows. If Jergens moves to RG if Kelce comes back then Scruggs can be the backup at center. Our depth on the line has taken a hit. So its important we get a few guys in here. Like Scruggs and Harrison

    250. Tarron Vincent DT Ohio State - This ones for Troy.

Overall FA pending I think we get younger on defense with some game changers like Smith and Ringo. Get some solid lineman in Benton and Harrison . Another back in Tucker and some more depth on both lines.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

Ronnie Hickman is a good player. I also like Kelee Ringo.

I would stay at 10 to see if somehow Jalen Carter, Tyree Wilson, or Weatherspoon slide to them.

I am ok with sliding back 5-10 spots though. There is not a lot of difference between picks 10 and 20.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I have cooled on Weatherspoon. I am concerned about his height. Plus I think Ringo or Cam Smith are just as good if not better for our scheme. The NFL has become a tackling league for CBs. Ringo and Smith want to press but they also can play off and then react and tackle because of their size.
