  • Comp Picks

The Eagles should get an extra influx of talent in this year’s draft, thanks to the NFL’s compensatory pick formula that rewards teams that lose free agents.

Philadelphia is set to receive a third-round compensatory pick and three fifth-round compensatory picks, according to Nick Korte of OverTheCap.com. Those picks will go to Philadelphia because the Eagles lost Javon Hargrave, Isaac Seumalo, Andre Dillard and T.J. Edwards in free agency.

Yep... I saw that. But we dealt a third I think so I think that makes us even. We do get the three fifth rounders. I would look for Howie to swing a deal and get more picks if he doesn't like what he sees at 22. If we need LBs and OL which I think is the direction we will go, I think we might trade out of the first round entirely to ensure we get 4-5 Day 2 picks. Howie seems to do pretty well with those.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

I don't know how accurate those are. the league only gives out 32 picks a season. Teams don't always get what they think they are getting.
