Titans GM Mike Reinfeldt said the Titans have "a good chance" at signing DT Corey Simon.
"He is just a wide body and an important part of what we do is stop the run," Reinfeldt said. "We had issues last year and he would make a difference." He would pair with Albert Haynesworth to fill middle, pushing Randy Starks to the bench.

Interestingly, I saw a very similar blurb on another sports blog, but with slightly different quotes and text. I believe it read something like this:

"He is just a wide body and an important part of what we do is stop the run by putting a lot fat guys on the field where running backs might trip over them.," Reinfeldt said. "We had issues last year and he would make a difference. We felt we weren't getting our money's worth when we stopped at the Golden Coral Buffet for a team meal. " Simon would pair with Albert Haynesworth to fill the middle, pushing Randy Starks to the bench where he would be free to prepare in-game meals for Corey.


With all the different bloggers on the net, you just don't know what to believe any more! I wish Kyle D were here to clear this up.
