  • Heckert on bloom

Spads was talking to tom before the game and he really sounded like if bloom does not step up and show something major tonight he is done.Said he had a good 1st game and not really much since, they would be looking at glew tonight to see if he could take over the PR duties.

It's pretty obvious the Eagles are thin at RB and they need a kick/punt returner. I think they'll pick up a RB who returns kicks and punts from the waiver wire on Saturday.

I agree. If they don't keep Bloom I'd be shocked if Lewis was really our kick returner on opening day. But if he is, the FO really dropped the ball here because that would mean they were totally unprepared for what would happen if Bloom didn't pan out. It's obvious they are now grasping at straws for a back-up. Buckhalter last week, Lewis this week? If it's not going to be Bloom, they should've already known who would be next in line LAST week, and started to work that guy out in game situations LAST week and THIS week.

And what if they do already have that backup plan and he is currently serving crab fries!?!?

Honestly I have no problem with Mahe he does a lot of things for this team and reliable. And if it ever comes down to it you always have Westbrook and Lito for big time situations.
Whatcha Gonna Do Brother, When the Eagles run wild on you?
