  • Returners on the waiver wire...

    ...or otherwise available:

Returners on the market (w/ former team):

    Mark Jones (Bucs) WR
    Tim Dwight (Jets) WR
JR Reed (Giants-former Eagles, of course) S
    Chris Barclay (Browns) RB
    Wali Lundy (Texans) RB
    Bethel Johnson (Texans) WR
    Az-Zahir Hakim (Miami) WR
    Alvis Whitted (Raiders) WR
    Quincy Morgan (Broncos) WR
Greg Blue (Vikings) S (College return guy at GA)
    Jeremy Bloom (Eagles) WR
    Reno Mahe (Eagles) RB

Wouldn't mind Chris Barclay myself. Greg Blue was a high draft pick. I'd take JR if I thought he had anything left. Lundy was a starter last year. Jones had good reviews as a returner.

JR is done. I am sure we all wish it hadn't happened, but he just doesn't have it post injury.

I wans't that familier with Greg Blue. Just looked him up. He is one big SS. Looks like a linebacker. Anyone know why he didn't pan out with the Vikes?

I've been following Lundy since his days at Holy Cross, and I'm really suprised he got cut. Would definitely bring him in for a look.

Frankly I wouldn't waste time on any of those!

You don't think any of those could be better than Greg Lewis?

Better talk to the Eagles FO quick because we apparently just added him to our 53-man roster! :P

I saw Blue a couple of times and thought he looked pretty good. MN has a fairly nice D but I am surprised he didn't make it.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy
                Hope is not a strategy

Well, I'll need some salt and pepper to make this crow passable.

I will still be shocked if he makes the active roster.

I was the first one to jump into the J.R.Reed excitement, but I'll admit that if I was you I wouldn't eat that crow just yet. We'll see what happens. I'm cautiously optomistic, but you still never know.
