The Dallas Morning News reports Cowboys have signed former Bears DT Tank Johnson, terms not announced.
Johnson is not eligible to play until Week 9, though he could apply for early reinstatement. When he does hit the field, he should help replace the void left by Jason Ferguson's season ending injury. The Cowboys cut CB Nathan Jones to make room for him.
