  • 9/24/07: Brandon Lloyd drops behind Thrash on depth chart

Brandon Lloyd is no longer being used in the Redskins' four-receiver sets.
Lloyd is behind Santana Moss and Antwaan Randle El, and apparent third receiver James Thrash. Second TE Todd Yoder is seeing more playing time. Lloyd may be a game-day inactive once Reche Caldwell picks up the offense.

If I recall correctly, a lot of Bird fans...along with Little Danny Snyder...were hot to sign Lloyd 2 years ago after seeing some of the very acrobatic catches he'd made for the 49ers.

Apparently, he either drops plenty that he SHOULD be catching easily or he has an attitude problem or both.

It's too bad great WOs like Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald...both of whom are mature, intelligent team players...are the exception rather than the rule.

Count me as one of those Birds fans that wanted Lloyd in green. He's still young though; there's still a chance the light will come on.

That won't help much if it's only a 15 watt bulb!
