According to the report I saw it sounds like someone was trying to break in and he went to check it out and got shot in the groin. Hope he's ok. Shot in the nuts - ouch, that's gotta hurt!

I've got to be honest. I feel badly when I learn of people who put their lives at risk in service of their fellow man (military, cops, fireman) getting killed or seriously injured. I feel badly when I hear about kids getting killed or molested by perverts. I feel badly about the all to frequent incidents of the powerless...whether people or animals...being killed or grossly mistreated by those with power over them.

But feel badly about a "cheap-shot" shit head getting shot? No more so than for the hundreds of nameless people who get shot in this country every day, and are never even mentioned, except possibly by their hometown news media. In other words, not at all.

I actually don't have any animosity with Sean Taylor. I remember the spitting incident, thought he was a thug and moved on.

However, what gets me is that this is BIG news just because he's sean taylor. Haven't 400 people gotten killed already in philly this year? How about someone do something about that?
