Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been accused of hitting a woman in a strip club in the early-morning hours of Jan. 3.

Wanda Jackson, an Atlanta defense attorney, filed a report with Atlanta police against Jones, according to reports out of Georgia and Tennessee. WSB-TV in Atlanta first reported the story on its Web site.

Jones is accused of striking Jackson inside the Body Tap Strip Club. He has neither been arrested nor charged.

According to reports, Jackson is handling a divorce case that involves Jones. On Jan. 3, the two began arguing in the club and Jackson has alleged that Jones punched her in the left eye.

Last April, Jones was suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the entire 2007 season for his role in inciting a strip club fight that led to a triple shooting last Feb. 19, leaving one man paralyzed.

Jones pleaded no contest in early December to a disorderly conduct charge, agreeing to a year probation, random drug testing, community service and anger management classes.

In mid-December, the NFL rejected an appeal by the players' union on behalf of Jones to have him reinstated for the final two games of the regular season.

At the time of his suspension, one of the changes Jones told Goodell he intended to make was to stay out of clubs and to avoid situations in which he might be compromised. Goodell has said that he has apprised Jones that he will ultimately be judged by his actions, not his words.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

There is no curing this nut. You know-- he could probably send his groupie down to any strip club every day and offer a girl $500 for a private show at the house and save money/headaches. But no, he has to thug it up on the town and start hitting the help. It wouldn't bother me one bit to see him wind up just like the Cowboy from the early 90s---in fact I hope he does.
Wait until next year is a terrible philosophy

Actually the woman he hit was an attorney who was visiting the club's offices. The attorney was doing some work for a client regarding a divorce or something. This altercation occured near the offices not out in the "pit".

PacMan is a victim of today's NFL culture. At least, that is what Micheal Irvin says.

That is not an exact quote. But, here are some highlights I heard from his show with Kevin Kiley. He was basically defending the fact that PacMan cannot stay out of topless bars.

                          * These guys from the hood get all this money.
                          * They go to topless bars and are treated like kings throwing money around.
                          * The NFL does not prepare them well enough for the sudden riches.
                          * Topless bars today have high-class woman, compared to the lower-class woman that used to work there (skanks was an image coming to mind the way he described them). This makes it too tempting to stay away from.

So basically, he was defending PacMan and saying it is mostly the NFL's fault. That is the impression you get from listening to him

I actually agree with a lot of things he said. But, the way he presents his case could use a little tact sometimes......well, most of the time

Yea I guess I shouldn't have said help but I saw that it was an attorney in the offices. I just think his clause says he can't go to strip clubs at all. I'm not sure why he was there but meeting the attorney doesn't really seem likely and he can do that anywhere just as he can get strippers to go anywhere. The dumb part to me (in amongest much dumbness) is that he went to the club at all----and then he was dumb enough to get into a fracas.
