GDT - Title game day!

Hopefully some of yous guys are around to discuss some football today. I am actually very interested in BOTH title games this year. Like most of you I'm sure, GB and the Bolts. Right? One favorite, one underdog. Nothing would make me happier that a Packers , Chargers SB. Here's hoping two of my most despised teams can be eliminated today.

Both teams struggling with the cold, so far it seems. Brady is having his balls sail on him, and SD is going against the wind....both offenses pretty weak so far. Seems like a game where the best run game would count BIG.....but LT ain't right, clearly.

Another chance here. If SD were more effective in the red zone, they'd be in great shape in this game. Regardles, they have impressed me with their play considering how banged up they are. Go Chargers!!!!!!!

If they get down near the goal line again they need to put LT in there and run the option pass.

The difference in this game was the red zone. Too many blown chances by SD killed them. Dammit, the Brady fellatio will continue, despite the fact that he was actually pretty damned poor today.

Agreed. It looks like the Pats will continue their march to perfection.

I might actually have to root for the Giants over the Packers today. I don't know if I could take the Favre/Brady media orgasm.

Reviewing the first game, I can't imagine the Pats playing any worse, and there was really no time during the game when I thought that it wouldn't take a couple of really bad breaks for them to lose. The D for the Pats really was clutch in the Red Zone, and they figured out a way to play smash-mouth-running-game in the second half. I couldn't believe what a non-factor Moss was. I don't think he's really a cold-weather player.

Philip Rivers really impressed me with his toughness. Chargers were just too depleted on the offensive side to exploit the Pats' D, even on a bad day for the Pats' O.

I don't think the Pats played terrible. I think we really need to recognize that the Chargers have a pretty darn good defense. They played a heck of a defensive game against two great offenses two weeks in a row. They just didn't have the health to keep up with the Pats on offense

I agree! I don't think the Chargers are really far from being able to win the SB.

Like you said health just wasn't on their side. Beside the fact that NE is a pretty damn good team.
