- Proud of the Sixers. One of the best overachieving teams in Philly over the past decade. Bright future.
- Phils need to get cranking and avoid a bad April. The comeback was huge. C'mon Kyle.

it was actually a very good year for the Flyers. Some youngsters proved they could play well. Coburn, Kukkonen (I know he is 26 but this is just his second season), 23 year old Richards turned it on, 23 year old Carter got better, 24 year old Lupul is a stud -he just needs to stay healthy.

The Gagne injury really hurt this team. I have no doubt they are in the playoffs if he doesn't get hurt.

either way...as tough as it would be to have over 90 points and not make the playsoffs. if they do not....their future is real bright and it all happened in one year. Don't forget how pathetic they were last year.

I'd love to see them sneak in and make a run

Fair enough. I really am not a Flyers follower. I just know they were cranking and then tailed off big time.

Not getting the Sixers but two quick goals put the Flyers up 3-0, looks like this might be the night to put them over the top. Hopefully the Phils can get out of the first 3-1.

Flyers win, Florida wins - Flyers clinch a playoff spot.

Sixers up 3 but it's tight. If they win - they clinch a playoff spot AND would hold the #5 seed as of tonight.

Yea, it was a good win for the Flyers.
The strike zone hasn't been friendly for Jenkins but the other boys doing well. Jr isn't treating the Phils well though with two hits and an RBI. Kendrick threw a lot of pitches in the first and, while I'm not a stats guy, seems to have let too many guys off the hook after having two strikes on them.
