  • Assuming Andrews plays well...

...and Max contiues to dominate, what does the O-Line look like week 1?

Can either Andrews or Jean-Gilles flip to LG? That would solidify the tackles if Herremans were moved to back-up L/R T and Justice released or put on the PS...

I love our options on the OL right now. Only problem is when Thomas, and Runyon retire. Those guys have been book-ends for years. Justice sucks... he may be better at his natural RT spot. MJG is better than #79.. he's a tackle at heart. Imagine 358lbs at LG, and 340lbs at RG (even though I think he's a bit heavier than that!)...

I think THE KING has a real shot at making this team at Justice expense. MJG looked really good last night. In fact I thought the entire 1st team offense looked good against a good Stillers defense.
Were from Philly F in Philly no one likes us we DON'T CARE!

The only fly in that ointment is that Justice played pretty good last night and King Dunloped over trying to block.

I think we need to see Justice in more than a couple real games to say "he sucks".

I'm a reactor YPCM...and always a bit over the top... he can't play LT that's a fact.. he's a RT. He needs to hope King falls flat in the next few games... I still can see him being cut.

Remember, before training camp started Reid talked a lot about the fact that Todd Herremans and MJG were going to battle for the starting LG spot. Andrews' no-show has made that kind of a moot point up until now but assuming Andrews will be ready to go (and I'm sure he will) Todd should start sweating.

I don't see why we wouldn't have room for both Dunlap and Justice on the team... They're the only two true tackles on the bench. Not that I would protest a lick if Justice were cut.

Plus, to your original point that he sucks, the fact that they are trying him at Guard with Runyan and Thomas near the ends of their careers would certainly seem to indicate that the coaching staff might think he sucks as a Tackle, and that his stock certainly isn't going UP at this point.

I'm not sure how far Justice has come. But at least on the basis of Friday's game his stock has never been higher as an Eagle, he outplayed both Runyan and Thomas. They did not look good at all. Justice did but it was only against the second stringers. We absolutely need to keep a sharp eye and an open mind as we watch the next two PS games. A lot will be learned.

You guys must have been watching a different game. I thought Justice looked pretty slow at times. He wiffed on a reach block that about got Tony Hunt killed in the backfield.

He just looks slow with his hands.
You know Darren if you'd have told me 10 years ago that someday I was going to solve the world's energy problems I'd have said your crazy.... now lets drop this big ball of oil out the window.

Assuming Andrews starts at RG on Opening Day IMO the LG spot is still up for grabs between MJG & Herremans.Either guy can play that position.Justice played RT at USC protecting Leinart's blind side and played well but just hasn't made the adjustment to play LT.If he can't improve at RT over the next few weeks he could get cut.The FO tends to be patient with high draft picks so maybe he gets a little leeway but he needs to step it up NOW!

Nice talk to you J! I've been thinking the same thing about MJG. The guy is a steamroller on running plays. Herramans stepped it up the other night too.
