  • D Jax?

I can't believe noone's brought this up yet.

If we hadn't gotten the ball on the one, I would be calling for his head.

But since we scored on that drive, I thought it was funny. It was almost as bad as Beebe knocking the ball out of what's his face's hand in the Superbowl.

Wow, does that kid have a speed gift- and good hands too. Why didn't they run that play again?

That is true - we did score - but correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that was the score that Westbrook dove over the top and went to the training table afterwards - it will be interesting to hear if he injured his tailbone - on an unnecessary play

This is a learning moment for D Jax, I gurantee he will never do that again. As it turns out it didn't hurt the team since they scored after that and Westbrook seemed to be fine. Personally I don't like using Westbrook at the goal line that is why you have Buchalter and Hunt, let them take the pounding.

Speaking of learning - did anyone catch the clip of him cart-wheeling in the air in HS, only to land on the one and lose the ball.

Horrible play by DJax, but remember Plaxico Burress made a couple dumb plays like this at the start of his career. The bottom line is, DJax set up a touchdown and was our top receiver...hopefully the coaching staff recognizes this and doesn't put him in the doghouse, because we can't afford it.

I think Hunt was out with an injured hamstring at that point, but point taken. Yes, excellent teaching point for the young man.

How can you guarantee that? He's already done it once before.

I can't believe the Pukes didn't pick that ball up. Would the ref have let them keep it?

No. Pacman actually tried to go for the ball but the ref was blowing the whistle to stop play.
