Lets just say they write a different form of english than we do...and I agree listening to sports radio or most of the local media is usually terrible, but especially after a lossEliminate distractions, create energy, fear nothing, and attack everything.

Winning cures everything. If we handle the Skins and move to 3-2 and they are 3-2 - things will be back to happy in Eagle Land.

If 89 yds in the second half with an interception, two sacks, and once tripping over his own feet on a crucial play near the goalline is playing well, if scoring 6 points the whole second half with multiple turnovers, against an injury depleted Bears defense is well, we've lowered our standards. He was good on the last drive but it never should have come to that.Originally posted by ekravitzactually, it's not that bad today. they thought McNabb played well. lot of hating on the coach though

Re: Don't listen to philly sports radio today
McNabb is getting somewhat of a pass largely because of his injury sataus. However that plays into your major concern with Donovan's ability to stay healthy for a whole season.
Funny, but 3 players I had concerns about being able to stay healthy were Westy, Dmac, and LJ....and look at them! At least Donovan is actually on the field....http://shop.cafepress.com/content/global/img/spacer.gifOK, let's try this again...

The INT is because Jackson ran a screwy route....McNabb threw it to a spot like you have been crying he never does and Jackson was not there.
The sacks were not McNabb holding onto the ball too long or your other idiotic claims, they were clear shots allowed because of blown block coverage where McNabb had no chance
Runyan just said on DNL McNabb was STEPPED ON when he stumbled taking the snap...only an ABSOLUTE HATER would claim he tripped on his own feet.
Chicago's defense played very well all night, we had very little running game again and McNabb was expected to carry the heaviest load again. If the OL and Buck do their job to get 1 yard, he succeeds again.
I bet the WR dropped balls were McNabb's fault too, right? Or I bet he was to blame for Schobel's missed block at the goal line, right?
The offense needs to be better all around including McNabb, Reid, Marty and everyone else. Your unhealthy obsession is sad.Eliminate distractions, create energy, fear nothing, and attack everything.

Re: Don't listen to philly sports radio today
Donovan was stepped on (though I heard some conflicting opinions on this, I haven't seen the replay), however, we don't know whose fault it was anyway. Donovan's ball to D. Jackson shouldn't have been thrown, regardless of the route he ran, as the Bears were waiting on it. Until Donovan proves it to me in the second half against a good defense, I will be down on him.

Re: Don't listen to philly sports radio today
So, Runyan is a liar? Care to share the "conflicting opinions" you mention regarding that play? And you bash him without even seeing a replay to know what happened? Do you think McNabb purposefully PLACED his foot underneath the OL foot so he could be stepped on? Is that how it could be McNabb's fault?Originally posted by KevinKolb4SBDonovan was stepped on (though I heard some conflicting opinions on this, I haven't seen the replay), however, we don't know whose fault it was anyway. So let me get this straight....you bashed McNabb for never throwing into tight coverage and never trusting his WR by throwing to a spot and after several games when he has done both successfully, you bash him now for doing that very thing because the WR screwed up and the Bears were "waiting on it"?
LOL...if a ball is thrown to a spot, the defense is playing cover 2 and the WR does not run the right route or breaks it off early, it would seem pretty natural one of the safeties would be "waiting on it", no?
Should McNabb now NOT throw any ball unless the WR is wide open and he can gaurantee the WR runs the right route? Leaving aside the impossibility of such an approach due to it being an obvious timing pattern where the QB has to throw it before the WR gets to the spot, I am not sure what you demand of McNabb now.
You'll be down on him as you have been for over a year regardless of reality.Eliminate distractions, create energy, fear nothing, and attack everything.

Re: Don't listen to philly sports radio today
I only listen to a few opinions on sports radio - I didn't hear Jon Runyan. However, if you looked at the play, and the way the Bears were bunching the line of scrimmage, and the formation we were in, I think that play was destined to fail from the start. I wouldn't be surprised if the threatening blitz up the middle caused someone to have "happy feet". I was almost hoping we'd call time out before that play or change the play at the line. DeSean had his back to Mcnabb completely, and it seemed like there were Bears on either side. Let's say you are right, and none of this is on Mcnabb. Doesn't change the fact that we got only 6 points in the second half despite what, 3 turnovers? Again, Donovan and Andy, just please prove to me you can win against a close game in the 4th quarter against at least a mediocre team...
