    Crazy huh?

    At 3 O'clock today our season was over. At 4 O'clock we come back and win and Dallas and Washinton get beat. That's nuts eh?

      I rather expected to wipe the floor with the 9ers, but I think I am more pleased with this win because it WAS a battle. THat made it mean a little something. I just wish the offense had been able to rally in the second half and put it back together.

      We needed this win. THere is still hope.

      Now, go offer up a 3rd for Gonzales and lets get him 2 weeks of practice time!

              The Eagles season is far from over. I thought they had quit yesterday but they showed balls the way they finished. I think a nice little run is in order once we can get back some of the walking wounded.

              The division just crashed back down to Earth in a HUGE way this week.

                Where have you guys been?

                This is why many of us keep a level head and realize nothing is as bad as it seems or as good as it seems. Anything can and does happen in the NFL and every week is completely different. The season is never over until we are eliminated.

                Let the media ride the roller coaster, sit back, relax and have fun.

                  How did the offense not rally in the 2nd half? We were down 9, 26-17, to start the 4th and then scored 16 unanswered points before Parker drove the nail deeper into the hole with his INT.

                      Even with the win this past Sunday I was disappointed in our performance. We continue to have horrible play in the same areas of our game every week - dropped balls, struggling to get short yardage, terrible play from the TE position, FG issues etc. etc. When I looked at our schedule in July I honestly saw us as 11-5 with a chance to go 12-4 this year. Now I'll be thrilled with 10-6 if we can somehow scratch our way into the playoffs. No matter what happens from this point on, I'm not getting as excited or depressed as I was before. There are too many more important things happening in life to be this consumed by a football game.

                        True Juke, but how did we have FG issues? Akers made 4-5 and the one that was blocked was not his fault at all.

                          I didn't blame him I said we are still having issues with the FG unit. This week was a missed block that let a guy through untouched to block the attempt and return it for a TD.
