As David Akers appears poised to break the Eagles record for field goals next week, is anyone still concerned about him? Seems to me that the man is back on track.

Isn't this easier said than done? Who could we possibly bring in that is going to be that potentially better than Akers to really be a legitimate competition? Any good kicker, or one with that much potential to overtake him will probably find a situation where he's likely to make the team and won't just be "competition for Akers."Originally posted by beagle View PostComment

I still have no confidence in him. Until I see him make 45+ yard field goals consistently I'll have my doubts. He's been missing anything over 40 yards pretty regularly for the last two seasons. Three weeks isn't going to make me forget the games we lost because we couldn't hit a makable FG.Official Driver of the Eagles Bandwagon!!!
