Why it's the sleeping Phillies' bats. Aren't they the cutest things, just laying there and not hitting anything! They have faced some good pitching lately but tonight they're doing their best to make Brad Penny believe he's still a major league pitcher.

I don't know who has gotten less run support the last month or so...Happ or Blanton.

Ignoring the fact that these guys should be embarrassed (they've proven over the years to be very tough to shame), the bright side is that they are in their last hitting slump of the year. I hope.

Better to get it over now, and come out of it that last two weeks of the season and into October.
