What's their record for December games for the last 5 or so years? It's really gotta suck. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says that if the playoffs started today, they'd be out.
So much for Rob Ryan's defense.
With their 0-2 record so far in 2011, at this point their December record is 8-14 with Tony Romo at QB. Doesn't include their 1-3 playoff record.
Losing Demarco Murray is going to hurt them. Good news: the Cowgirls have blown five fourth-quarter leads this season.
Even better, a "brutal stat" according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram: the Cowgirls are 12-9 under Jason Garrett. In 8 of those 9 defeats, they blew a fourth-quarter lead.
Even better still: three of those blown leads this season, they were ahead by 12 points or more. In the 50 years before that, want to know how often they blew leads that big, that late in the game? Twice.
That last stat is from the Dallas Morning News.
